Good afternoon

(Although I am late a bit I would like to wish Happy New Year everybody ;-))

My question is how to say correctly: Didn't be allowed to or wasn't/weren't allowed to.

Thank You a lot

Here's another set for you:

When I was a child, I wasn't allowed to stay up past midnight.
When I was a child, my mother didn't allow me to say up past midnight.

I allowed him to shake my hand.
I didn't allow him to kiss me.

He was allowed to shake my hand.
He wasn't allowed to kiss me.

Oh, yes, now I understand, course... I am allowed to do something this is an passiv sentence, and I didn't allow somebody to do something it is an activ one.
Thank You a lot ;-)
