    The answer is option D. Is option A acceptable?

    In my opinion, D is the 'correct' answer that I would choose in an exam. However, in speaking, A is commonly used. I guess it depends on whether you consider
    'getting enough sleep and eating healthy food' is a single concept - in which case 'is' would be fine, or whether you consider 'getting enough sleep' and 'eating healthy food' as two separate concepts, in which case you would need to use are.

    I agree with Ade that "is" is frequently heard in speech, but IMO this does not make it acceptable. Sleeping and eating are two separate activities.
