    Cool while we connect

    Hello!

"Please wait, while we connect you"=> Why don't we use the present continuous in this case?

"while we are connecting you" ?

    Thank you
    W

We could, but as the action of connecting is (we hope) of short duration, we don't really need to use the present continuous.

    Cool Re: while we connect

    Thank you 5.

In my question, would it be better to use "why aren't we using"?

    Thank you

    No.

You are asking about normal, regular usage.
