Cool what is the meaning of "peel the skin off their body","scratch your eyes right out"?

    Hi

    1.
Did anybody else feel they just wanted to peel the skin off their body, to have something else to do?

Thank God you didn't try to fan out the magazines. I mean, she'll scratch your eyes right out.

scratch is to remove, erase someone's name, something, right?

Then, I think that both peel the skin off their body and scratch your eyes right out. are only in cartoon...But there are many example in casual way..
(I searched all over the internet, but I can find the definition...

These are examples of hyperbole, or exaggeration for the sake of emphasis.
