Hello everybody,
this's a first draft of my statement of my own motivation for Master's Degree. Please, point out errors and lacks of consistency in this text. Thank you very much in advance.

Dear All,
I am applying for Master’s Degree Program in Software Engineering for the 2011 winter term. I am very intersted in your integrated approach to the education of IT specialists and I believe it is most justified among others approaches. I think a software development process is more about a interaction with people rather than about a computer science and classified specialist must possess, as your site says, softskills.
I have always liked such significant part of our life as Informational Technologies. I account this specific direction of the human activity has been developing most dynamically and rapidly for the last few decades. This field of knowledge has affected all aspects of our civilization and, in my opinion, nothing else changed our everyday life so much. Just because I entered and later graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Information technologies, mechanics and optics. I received a engineer degree with a specialization in “Informational systems and technologies”. There I have obtained a foundation of my technical knowledge and skills.
After that, in during of my working as software developer in company developing sonar systems, I have understood that computer aspect is just one of several ingredients of my profession. There are many others, for example, methodologies for project management, an interaction with a team and customers and etc.
For last few years I have realized two things. First of all, I really love my profession, I passionate about a learning of new languages, paradigms, technologies, about a pure creation process itself and so on. Secondly, I would like to deepen my current knowledge and receive a wide coverage of software development skills. I believe your course would offer me this possibility.
Thank you very much for considering my application. I look forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully, xxx.

Hi Kitton. I hope this helps.

I am applying for a Master’s Degree Program in Software Engineering for the 2011 winter term. I am very interested in your integrated approach to the education of IT specialists and I believe it is most suitable compared to other approaches. I think a software development process is more about interaction between people rather than merely a computer science, and that a classified specialist must possess, as your site says, softskills.
I have always been interested in Informational Technologies as they play such a significant role in our lives. I entered and later graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Information technologies, mechanics and optics. I received an engineering degree with a specialization in “Informational systems and technologies”. There I obtained the foundations of my technical knowledge and skills.
After that, while working as a software developer in a company developing sonar systems, I understood that the computer aspect is just one of several ingredients of my profession. There are many others, for example, methodologies for project management, and interaction with a team and customers etc.

Thank you very much for considering my application. I look forward to your response.

Personally I would not finish with the assumption that the response will be "positive" and so I've deleted it. You have made your case and the final sentence is really just a formality to politely indicate your enthusiasm, rather than force the issue. But other editors may see it differently. Good luck.
