I have a file list and I need to tell the program which files to print.
For this I use three buttons: All, Selected , Not Selected.
But I not sure about Not Selected. Is it correct or it must be one of the following:

Not-Selected
Non Selected
Non-Selected
Unselected?

Thanks in advance.

So, one option prints all the items.

The other prints only the selected items.

The third option prints all of the items that are NOT selected?

May I say that the third option seems counter-intuitive? I've never seen software that acts on things that are NOT selected.

If I were doing such a thing, I would have two options. One to print all. The other to print the selected.

Then I would have a button to "Invert Selection."

If the user wanted to print the things he did not select, then he could press the "invert selection" button and then print the things that are (now) selected.

That seems more logical to me.

If you want to do things your way, I would say "Print Unselected."

Well, there is a misunderstanding here! That printer thing was just an introduction to the question. The question is lingual and not technical and it's about "not" and "non".

It's about the best way to label a button in a program, and unselected is one of the options asked about in the first thread. I agree with SoothingDave that [Print] Unselected is probably the best one for a button.
