    Lesbian, Gay

Lesbian is a female who sexually attracted to women only.
Gay are male and female who sexually attracted of the same sex.

    1) Is the meaning of homosexual the same as gay?

    2) Is there a word for a male who sexually attracted to men only?

    3) What is the plural form of :
    a) lesbian
    b) gay

    Thanks.

Never use these words, they are completely unacceptable and likely to get you into trouble!

    NOT A TEACHER.

You can add "fag" and "homo" to that list.

    Re: Lesbian, Gay

Instead of "gays" and "lesbians" you can say "gay people", "lesbian women".

Yes - it's strange (because 'gay' has been so recently used to mean homosexual, its meaning is very flexible). A lesbian will say 'I'm gay'; but many organizations are called '<place-name> Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual <organization-type>' as though 'gay' excluded lesbians - which, as you know - it doesn't.

Oh, and although it wasn't the question, you may want to take a look at Dyke (slang) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
