    Lightbulb all the more

What is the main difference between 'more' and 'all the more' ?
    Please give me some examples.
    Thanks a lot!

    Default Re: all the more

All the more gives emphasis: The fact that I couldn't have it made me want it all the more = I wanted it very much because I couldn't have it.

Go to these sites and search for any word or phrase and you'll get loads of examples of real usage:
    British National Corpus (BYU-BNC)
Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA)
