    Using the definite article

    Please tell me if I can use the definite article before the word "equipment" when by it is meant some definite equipment (i.e. mentioned previously).

    I am not a teacher.

    Yes. We left the equipment in the bunker when we went swimming. You can't have an equipment, though.
