    Default Here (rather) than the heaven?

    Hi,

    Can I say 'here than the heaven' or should I say 'here rather than the heaven' in the sentence below? Should I put the in front of heaven?

    I must stay, for the journey you are always with me, in the air you have become, where I may find you someday, here than the heaven.

    Thanks,
    Lau

    Your intended meaning is not clear.

    Sorry, is it clearer if I provided the context where this sentence goes?

    I cannot live with you, heaven is too high;

    I cannot age with you, you have forgone my time;

    Nor I can rise with you, I must stay, for the journey you are always with me, in the air you have become, where I may find you someday, here than the heaven.

    The whole idea of it is meant to be abstract though...

    Thanks.

    I am not a teacher.

    OK, but be abstract clearly. "Here than the heaven" is nonsense. ("In the air you have become", for example, is not, even though its meaning is obscure.) I, too, cannot tell what mistake you are making---"here than the heaven" seems like random words in a row. Please say it in other words so I get the idea; I don't want to make wild stabs at it.

    Thank you for pointing out, Coolfootluke.

    Here is the explanation in another way,
    I must stay behind on Earth where you have become the air (or water, salt, etc, after you die) in which I may find you someday there (in the air) rather than in heaven.

    I think I should have written - here rather than Heaven?
