    Default Am I hacked?

    Dear everybody,

    Today, I pasted a question on the forums and the subject is "I have a sore eye. = I have an eyesore. ????". However, a funny something happened. Someone replied my question but he or she use my sign-in name and answer my question through the edit fuction. My original words was covered by his or her reply....

    Am I hacked????

    It depends on who answered. Moderators and administrators have the ability to edit all posts, and they occasionally respond in this way if it seems optimal.

    I doubt very much that you have been 'hacked'.

    Do you use an internet cafe? It could be that you forgot to logout and someone else used the same machine as you and posted a reply. Also, make sure nobody else knows your password. You can reset your password if you want here: http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/login.php?do=lostpw

    By the way, if you do use an internet cafe, it is better that you don't use the "remember me" feature when you log in.
