Default Whether it is ethical Vs is whether ethical

    Hi,

I wonder what is wrong in this sentence, it seems not quite right to me...

It's time for us to re-think on consuming cow milk whether it is ethical or not if you think that consuming human milk is disgusting.

or maybe this one is correct?

It's time for us to re-think on consuming cow milk is whether ethical or not if you think that consuming human milk is disgusting.

    Thanks.

    Neither.
It's time for us to re-think whether consuming cow milk is ethical or not, [note the comma] if you think that consuming human milk is disgusting.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
