Could the phrase work method be used to describe the way you work (the tasks you normally perform and the way you approach them). 'Work routine' sounds a bit negative, what could I use instead?

I too like to know the answer.

Do you mean something like "What's a typical day at work like for you?" or "What sort of things do you do on a daily basis?"

I don't find anything negative about work routine, but it would be easier to see the full sentence.

I was thinking about some two-word phrase (analogous to 'work routine'). I don't know why but I have this persistent thought it exists, and I've already heard it, but at the moment I can't recall it.

Oh well, I can't expect you to guess what I *might* have heard. But thanks for the description Barb_D.

I am not a teacher.

Here are a few spitballs:
work ethic
daily grind
routine
rat race
modus operandi
procedure
work habits
habitual practice
chores

I think this one renders best what I had in mind!

I've also come up with work-patterns, especially when describing a typical day at work.
