    Re: Donít hit yourself!

Oh, I read about the rhetorical device.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Excuse me but how come you don't know about anaphora? English is my second language and I know about it. Are you native speakers of English?

You can speak English perfectly without knowing a bunch of jargon, and knowing such jargon doesn't help at all in using a language productively (though it does help in discussing it and may help in learning it). A little learning is a dangerous thing

PS It is not anaphoric, but exophoric.

    Re: Donít hit yourself!

I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
