I want to say the drink/sparking wine is not fizzy anymore. Shall I say,

  • The drink has gone flat.
What are differences between fizzy drink and sparkling drink?

Thank you.

What are the differences between fizzy drink and sparkling drink?

'Fizzy' is more informal. Coca Cola is fizzy and Champagne is sparkling. There are also carbonated drinks.

There are several differences involved in the production of such drinks which somebody else might explain to you if you're still interested.

Fizzy drinks which have lost their sparkle have gone flat, as you said.

Drinks which were never intended to be fizzy are called still.

What do you mean of still. Any example in a sentence for reference?

Thank you.

Fizzy drinks have bubbles or effervescence.

Still drinks have no bubbles. There is nothing moving inside.
