    minimal

    Dear all,

If we described a certain place as being "minimal", can it mean "simple"??? I know the literal meaning of "minimal, though.

Example "It's very minimal. At the same time, there's a certain sense of positive, human, luxurious qualities about it

    Thanks a lot.

It can mean simple but in what sense or in what areas? The term "minimal" by itself is not sufficiently descriptive to give the listener/reader an understanding of what is minimal.
