    Cool on/in the market

    Hello!

Which is the right preposition in this case "in or on"?

-Our company must impose on/in the market.

    Thank you
    Will

Before I would consider "on/in" I would question the use/meaning of "impose" in your example. Impose what? It just doesn't seem to work for me.

To be honest, I didn't like that word either but that's the translation I found in the dictionary

So I'm glad to see my instinct can be reliable!

I want to express the idea that I want our company to become important on/in the market. Can you help me?

    Cheers

You could say; "Our company must impose itself on the market".
