    Default please recommend a book...

    Good evening,
I am looking for an English dictionary or a book in general, that has an extreme number of so called "usage tips". For example "do not use with..., often used after". I realize it would be a very big book, but I don't insist on very much entries.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jiri

I would recommend this site to you. It might be a better source of usage tips than any book. Well, questionably, but it's a great tool anyway. You will need to register and spent a bit of time learning how to put queries together, but it's going to pay off well.
