    Default difference in meaning

    Hi guys

Can someone tell me the difference in meaning between the following sentences?

    a) I can't bear to be alone.
    b) I can't bear being alone.

I would appreciate a complete answer.
Please give me your opinions even if you're not sure.

    Thanks.

There is no difference. They mean the same thing.
I believe that this was asked and answered in a recent thread.
