Re: 'Debit card', 'cash card', and 'debit card'
Just a final note on this: When you have your debit card, and it has the little Visa or Mastercard symbol on it, it can be used anywhere that accepts credit cards.
However, even then, it's still coming directly out of your bank account. There is no middle lender.
When you use it as a debit card, you have to enter a personal identifaction number. Not every merchant is set up to accept debit cards, but most accept credit cards, so the same card works both ways to the merchant, but the same way to you -- that much money is immediately removed for your bank account.
There is a lower cost to the merchant to use it as a debit card. I always wonder why they don't train their employees to say "Is debit okay?" instead being utterly uninterested in your answer to "Credit or debit?"
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
