    impact

When a plane had a crash landing, it caused an impact which hurt and killed a lot of people.

Then when the feet stepped on the ground harshly and hard which caused sore and pain to the knee. Shall I call it impact as well?

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
Yes, you can say that the impact of jumping awkwardly onto the ground caused the knee pain. The impact caused the pain.
You will also see this as a verb: "The jump impacted on his knee". But I don't like it.

When the plane crash landed, the impact hurt or killed a lot of people.

Then, when his feet stepped harshly and hard on the ground, the impact caused pain in his knees.
