    Present Perfect

    1) No one knows what one can do till one has tried
    2) No one knows what one can do till one tries

    How are they different?

They are both very odd. I can't imagine anybody ever saying either of them. "One doesn't know what one can do until one tries" is a bit better, but not much.

    Re: Present Perfect

'You never know what you can do until you try/have tried' and 'You'll never know what you can do if you don't try/haven't tried' were part of my childhood.

The sense was; ' You will know if you can succeed only if you make an attempt.'
