    Question Looking for homonymn help

    Anyone know of homonyms for the following words:

    continuum, elocution, embroil, copious


    My child is doing vocabular cartooning where they have to find a word that sounds similiar to the main word and link the two by writing a sentence with each word in the sentence.

    Homonyms are two (or more) words that are pronounced or spelled the same. They are drawn mostly from simpler vocabulary items, often of Anglo-Saxon origin--- bear/bare; pear/pare/pair; right/right/right; etc. Your words have complex definitions, but are not homonymous.
