    Default To save oneself

    Hi everybody!

    To save oneself = To save one’s bacon/ skin/ neck/ hide.

Which variant is the most preferable for you to use in your speech?
Or do you know another phrase with this meaning?

    Thanks!

If I was talking around my mother I'd probably say neck.

Otherwise it's +1 for save my ass
