    Is it the correct sentence ?

    Generally speaking, CPW is employed for circuits operating at high microwave frequencies, whereas microstrip can become multimode at these frequencies. Therefore, the importance of opting for CPW at these frequencies becomes clear.

    It is grammatically correct.

    But consider "the reason for opting" or "the rationale for opting" instead of the word, "importance."
