    Following sharks

What noun is best suited here?:

A device can be attached to a shark to trace its _____________________. ??

I am thinking path, journey, movements? It basically refers to the tracing of where a shark has been over a specific period of time.

    Re: Following sharks

I think whereabouts would describe a stationary position rather than a route as such.

If you don't like "whereabouts", you can use "wanderings".

You mean wanderings, right? That's a good choice.

    Thanks.
