    Acceptable, okay, something you approve of or enjoy.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    I concur with Barb and yes it's slang. It's the cooler way of saying "cool".

    That's hip with me = that's cool with me = that's okay with me
