    exhaust fan

    1. What are differences of seat and chair?

    2. What do we call the chair particular for the boss in an office with wheels and long seatback up to the head?

    3. Heater is the one generated the hot air to keep the warm.

    What do we call the machine boiling the water to supply hot water to the water spigot?

    4. We call the fan fixing in the bathroom to keep the air ventilating in the bathroom as exhaust fan.

    What do we call the machine fixing above the stove to absorb the smoke generating from cooking?
    __________________________________________________ ______

    5. What do we call the light fixing on the ceiling which looks like a long rod.
    __________________________________________________ ______

    6. I know what is sitting room , dining room, bedroom.

    What do we call the room for doing computor, studies, working and writing?

    7. Regarding point 3:

    Yes, you can have a "home office", you can also have a "study". We don't usually call it a "study room."

    In the US a "boiler" is used to create hot water for heating. The device which creates hot water for bathing and household use is called a "water heater."

    The exhaust fan would be called a hood or a range hood. (The combination of oven and stove-top burners is called a range.)

    We would call the lights fluorescent bulbs or tubes.

    I've never heard it called that.

    We have an extractor fan in the wall of our bathroom to take the steam outside.
