    Can "action" be plural here?

    "It's time to take actions to solve our problems".

    I don't think that "take actions" is correct.

    Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary
    action
    [noncount] : things done to achieve a particular purpose
    ▪ We were ready to take action. [=to do something]
