Hello,

Here is a short report sent by one of my students prior to an upcoming class:

The sales figures show that sales for “Yum Yum” and “Bonzo’s Premium” are both up. “Bonzo’s Premium”, which is the biggest seller, rose by 40. “Yum Yum” was low last year. It rose by 40 with sales up three times last year. Sales of “Drool Chews” have dropped by 50% since last year. We estimate that sales for both “Yum Yum” and “Bonzo’s Premium” will continue to improve next year. Sales of “Drool Chews” will remain steady at current levels.

I would change the following:

Volume of sales or sales for "Bonzo's Premium rose by 40%
Sales for "Yum Yum" were low last year. They rose by 40%, with sales up three times, compared with last year or rose three times on last year.

Do these changes make sense?

Thank you in advance.

I'd change this to:

"They rose by 40%, on sales three times higher than last year."
