Hello

What is the meaning of "throw in"?

So if a man steals from me, I kill him, I kill his wife, his children, his mother, I might even throw in the family doctor for good measure.
(This is from the film "the tourist")
(The Tourist Quotes (Page 2))

I found the definition from oxford. It says "to push or move somebody/something/yourself roughly or violently into something, such as water or a building".

But I think seeing a family doctor is kind of awkward. Help me :D

Throw in means to add. "If you buy both the TV and the computer, I'll throw in a free pencil!"

The speaker is saying he might even kill the family doctor.

41. throw in, Informal

a.

to add as a bonus or gratuity: They throw in breakfast with the room.
