    Default PRONOUNS

The Market is a book. The book has many pictures. I like the pictures.

After using pronouns, the sentences are:

The market is a book. It has many pictures. I like them.

Is the use of THEM for THE PICTURES is correct?

    NOT A TEACHER

The Market is a book. It has many pictures. I like them.

    (a) I believe that you are 100% correct. "Them" must be the

    pronoun for "pictures."

    (b) If you had wanted to refer to the book, you would have

    used "it."

    Respectfully yours,
