    Smile no sooner

    I had no sooner studied my lessons than my father came.
    I no sooner had studied my lessons than my father came.
    Are the two sentences correct? Thanks for your help.

    Have you tried scrolling down to the bottom of the page and reading the Similar threads listed there?
