    Reference order

    Hello everyone!

What is the right way to refer to parts of a document, e.g.:

    Agreement, Article 3, Part 1, paragraph 3,
    or
paragraph 3, Part 1, Article 3 of the Agreement?

I mean, in the mail services first you mention the appartmant, then, building, street, city, country -- you start with the smallest object and go to the largest.(In Russia, by the way, it's vice versa in the mail services.)
What about the documents, what do you think would be the best way of reference -- from small to large of vice versa? Or maybe both are possible?

    Thank you

I agree but I would omit the number sign.
