    Default meaning of a sentence

    Dear all,
I am a bit confused with the last sentence in the following paragraph:
I am using insulin pump for 14 months. I could control my blood sugar level very tightly during a year but a few months ago it suddenly changed into being a little higher than the target blood sugar level? There were no changes in the nutrition, the exercise pattern and the total insulin dosage. I didn’t take any operation and get stressed.

My colleague understands it "I didnīt take any measures but I am worried about it."
It sounds logical but "didnīt" in the first part and no "did" in the second part of the sentence makes me thinking about "I underwent no surgery and no stressing situation."

Thanks for explanation, I am not very skilled in spoken English.

I think you're right. I think they meant to say "I didn't take any operation or get stressed." I wonder if they meant to say medication instead of operation?
