    Default Meaning

The vicar spots me and waves. I wave back, feeling guilty that I never go to church with Eddie and the kids. Some bloody Commie, my husband is. One week he's up here, at Holy Trinity, the next he's marching the kids off down the Sally Army, then they're over Whitfield Tabernacle.

Are the words in bold type the names of the church? Please.

They are the names of three different churches. The Sally Army refers to the Salvation Army.

We'd need to know more about the context to answer this, puzzle. 'Commie' is certainly short for 'communist', but they're usually atheists, so don't go to church at all.

Please note that Holy Trinity/Sally Army/Whitfield Tabernacle would have been better thread title.

But from just what you quoted, I'd interpret that she's saying he's a bad communist since he keeps going to church. Communists are atheists, as noted above.
