It may be an age thing. I am a BrE speaker (65), and would say a bowl of cereal, whether it was just corn flakes or a mix of sugar pops and bran flakes. Not that I'd eat one!

    I know a 34-year-old who'd steal a bowl of cinnamon cereal from a 2-year-old. ;)

    Hi TheParser,
I don't feel offended at all;everyone was just trying to make me understand that each type of laugh sound corresponds to a context; I think that everyone was respectful with each other; I said that I will change my laugh because hi hi was the way we write it in italian; so, even if I'm Italian I will have to change the sound of my laugh ( at least when I'm writing in English, of course); noone meant to hurt you and I feel sorry if something has hurt you; please always answer my questions...don't stop your contribution.
    Rip

Aren't those little cinnamon things absolutely lovely? It's really unfair that a person of my age, brought up in a traditional Polish family, should find a disgusting commercial product so irresistible.

We all have are weaknesses. At least you don't steal from 2-year-olds.
