    confused

    hey! I'm new here...
    I just want to ask which sentence is right and why: "If things are bad, don't worry it can always get worse" or "If things are bad, don't worry it can always gets worse".

    Welcome to the forum, Tracy.

    Please note that If things are bad... would have been a better title for your thread.

    If you mean 'Which sentence is grammatically correct?' then the answer is neither of them.

    Here's one way to put it right:

    "If things are bad, don't worry; they can always get worse".
    As a piece of advice, it's not very encouraging.

    I'm using it just as a sarcasm.
    And for the title of my thread i didn't know what to put....Since i was confused between the 2 sentences i put "confused" as a title, but i'll take your advice for the next thread :)
