Default charge down an original line

    Dear all,

What is the meaning of "He charges down an original line" in:

[Hausl delivers the goods with a high-flying run. He charges down an original line at top speed]

    *** Hausel is a skier

    Thanks a lot.

At first thought, I guessed that "his landing was very special and at top speed". I'm not at all sure of course.

    Thanks.
