    inside

The ball is in the box.

The ball is inside the box.

    a. Are inside and in interchangeable?

    b. What are the differences in usage between in and inside?

    Re: inside

    Not a teacher.

They are both correct in your examples.
Inside has the idea of being enclosed in something. Use it if you need to give some emphasis or draw contrast with something that is outside.

    Re: inside

    Ju,

    In or inside?
    inside vs. in
    INSIDE vs. IN the auditorium
    inside/in/into
    preposition: in/inside

I hope these help you learn about "in" and "inside".

Do you have any further questions?
