    trust you /in you

    Hi,
    I'd like to know if it is necessary to use the preposition after the verb trust or not;
    I remember the sentence in God we trust, but I don't know if the use of "in" depends on the word God...
    Should
    I say
    1) I trust you
    OR
    2) I trust in You ?

    have the sentences : "I have faith in you and I believe in you" the same meaning as I trustyou/in you?

    Thanks
    Rip
