She takes her dog for a walk every day.
She takes her dog for walks every day.

Can any one tell me
Which is correct or which sounds more natural?
is there any difference in the meaning?
Thanks.

She takes her dog for a walk every day.
The dog is walked once a day.
She takes her dog for walks every day.
The dog is walked more than once a day.

Thank you. I understand. :-o

But I am still a bit confused because recently I came across the sentences below;

A. She goes to a party every night.
B. She goes to parties every night.

I thought A is correct because she goes to only one party per night not a couple of different parties in the same night.

But I was told B is correct because A sounds like she goes to the same party every night ( I mean tonight, tomorrow night she goes to the same place and meet the same people...)

Do you agree that B is correct...? if so why is it different from the example of '' take the dog for a walk"? :-|

B could mean that she goes to more than one party every night.

B could mean the she goes to a different party every night. In other words, it could have the same meaning as A. But anyone who would go to a party every single night might well go to many parties every night, so I don't know which is mean.
A sounds like she goes to the same party every night
A would never be assumed by a native speaker to mean that she goes to the same party, night after night. It's not logical. We all have knowledge of the real world and need to use it to understand the sense of what someone says.

Thank you.:) I see...

A. She goes to a party every night.
B. She goes to parties every night.

so you mean -

If I want to emphasize she goes to only one party per night A is correct.
B can mean the same as A but B can also mean she goes to a few parites per night.

Which do people use more often A or B?
