    Default Is my sentence correct?

She has to take 3 courses in chemistry. His friend suggests divide it into 2 parts. She should take 2 chemistry courses in the next semester and the rest in semester after that( I'm not sure . Can you please tell it another word?).

    Thank you so much.

There are several ways you could write these sentences. Here is just one suggestion that uses your words.

She has to take three courses in chemistry. Her friend suggests that she divides them into two parts. She should take two chemistry courses next semester and the third in the semester that follows.

Or, "Her friend suggests that she divide them into two parts."

Fair comment, Raymott, but I'm not convinced that arzgol is quite ready for the subjunctive.

Arzgol, please note that Three courses in chemistry would have been a better thread title.

Well then, "Her friend suggests that she should divide them into two parts" or "Her friend advises her to divide them into two parts." But maybe if we didn't mention that it was subjunctive, he wouldn't notice. There are many ways of saying this. "Her friend counsels her thus: 'Worthy wench, your course of study would be better cleft in twain'."

    Welcome to the forum, Apolo.

You need to start a new thread for this, not simply tack it on to an existing one.

    Give it the title fraze.it.

I agree - it's an excellent learning resource. I've added it to my favourites.
