Question 'get a little kick out of being slow-minded'?

    Hi,
Could anyone please tell me what 'get a little kick out of something' means? (from Lily Allen's song)

    NOT A TEACHER

    Hello, Mehrgan.

    (1) I believe that you are 100% correct:

Mona: Every day in class you say things that anger Professor Smith.

    Tom: I know.

Mona: So why do you do it?

Tom: Because I get a kick out of it. (I love to see Professor Smith

get red in the face and become embarrassed and start to look crazy.)

Mona: You are not a very nice guy.

    Tom: I know.

    (2) Sometimes I think that it does not have a negative feeling. It just

means something like a special enjoyment. I think that many years ago,

there was a popular song in the States that said something like:

I get no kick from champagne. (If you google it, I'm sure that you can

get all the lyrics to that song.)

    Sincerely yours,

    James

P.S. I just googled. The title is "I Get a Kick Out of You." Written

by Mr. Cole Porter in the 1930's. I am pretty sure that the title is

    not sarcastic.

It's meant sarcastically in the song you're asking about IMO. (Have only read lyrics and not heard it)
