Default The euphoria in the country

Is this passage grammatically correct? Thanks.

The euphoria in the country is now at its peak without any connection to and regardless of the reality in the region itself. According to the government's point of view the events in the region constitute a historic victory of democracy over dictatorship. Many observers and commentators do not hesitate to compare between the victory of the masses over their rulers and the revolutions which have toppled communist regimes in Eastern Europe or even - the French Revolution which has launched a new era in Europe's history.

Default Re: The euphoria in the country

Euphoria in the country is now at a peak, regardless of the reality of ( life ) in the region itself.

According to the government, recent events in the region constitute a historic victory of democracy over dictatorship.

Many observers and commentators do not hesitate to compare the victory of the masses over their rulers, to the revolutions which toppled communist regimes in Eastern Europe - or even the French Revolution, which launched a new era in Europe's history.
