    singular or plural

    Hello,

I wonder what is the diference between:

    'She takes note'

    and

    'She takes notes'

    Are the both correct?

    Thanks for helping.

    Re: singular or plural

'She takes note of something' - she pays attention to it so that she remembers it.

'She takes notes' - she writes thing down to help her remember later.
