    "In the most species, amphibians lose their gills and develop lungs, which makes them capable of living on land."


    Is this sentence grammatically correct?

    Remove 'the' from in front of species, and it is. )

    In 1, 'which' refers back to the whole clause amphibians lose their gills and develop lungs.

    In 2, 'which' refers back tolungs,
