    Not a teacher only a native.

    'Spare no effort' means put all your energy into doing something. Do the job as best you can.

    To see how this idiom works, consider the opposite. You're trying very hard to do something, and a friend says 'You might as well spare yourself the effort.' If you 'spare no effort', you ignore that advice.
