This situation is in the papers and on the TV all the time (now).
This situation has been in the papers and on the TV for weeks (now).
Situations such as these are in the papers and on TV for weeks now(adays).
Those three are fine, but I just can't see that "This situation is in the papers and on the TV for weeks now" is possible. Have I missed something?
