    Thought up

Well, i dont no so much about english and cos of that i recently found this in a song lyric:

"There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you"

    id translate this so:

Debe haber un ángel con una sonrisa en su cara,
cuando ella pensó que debería estar contigo.

Well, my doubt is this: wots the meaning of thought up??? ive been lookin for this word many days in the internet and im not able to found it! please, answer my question cos im gettin angry with this phrasal verb! (used in this context)
